Here is some suggested text to share with friends:

Dear Friends,

I hope this finds you well during these trying times. I would like to share with you one thing I have done that has really helped me. I know that you are someone who cares a great deal about racism and wants to do something about it – like me. I recently participated in an introductory course to allyship that was taught by Dr. David Campt. David is a world-renowned dialogue specialist who has devoted his life to helping people come together over the most difficult issues.

In this course, we learned to talk openly and honestly about race, and it was pretty amazing. Not only did David and his team make us feel comfortable, much of the time we were laughing thanks to their light-heartedness and easy sense of humor. Actually, we learned that learning was easiest when we are relaxed – so he taught us about how to help other’s relax. And that’s just one step in this method.

Anyway, I found this course very helpful and wanted to make you aware of it, too. If you are interested, you can register here for the next class.

What was really amazing what I learned is that the method doesn’t just apply to talking about racism – it applies to other aspects of building relationships and being persuasive.

Thanks for considering this and I would be happy to talk to you more about it if you want,

Sincerely,
